Clearing a cracked driveway in Westwood
A homeowner was tearing out a thick, rebar-reinforced driveway from the 80s that had finally cracked under the shifting West Texas soil. The concrete chunks were incredibly heavy, and the pile was growing dangerously close to the sidewalk. Standard pickup trucks couldn't handle the weight without blowing out their suspension, and the debris sat there for days.
We delivered a reinforced 10-yard concrete dumpster specifically designed to handle heavy aggregates without bowing. I placed wooden planks under the steel rollers to protect the remaining asphalt from the immense weight during delivery. The crew walked the heavy rubble right through the swinging back door, and we hauled the load to a local recycler the next morning.
Travis dropped the bin right where we needed it, and we had that heavy concrete gone before the HOA complained.
